PhotoBook
SLOWDOWN
This is a book with which the author wants to convey the inner state of a person, his tension and emotional overload. But moving through the book, the state of a person changes along with how the photographs themselves change.
What will be the breaking point in a world where our rhythms are accelerating and even time seems to be shrinking? A world where technology is outpacing our ability to adapt to it. Where the volume of information is so great that we are no longer able to deeply perceive everything that is pouring in on us from different sides. Trying to keep up with everything, we watch or listen to information in fast forward mode. We eat on the go, without having time to taste our food. And even when we go somewhere, we most often look at or listen to our smartphones. Enjoying beauty now also happens through a smartphone, and lasts only as long as it takes a finger to take a picture. What will be the ultimate speed in this world where there is no room for measuredness?
Sometimes I feel like I'm on a speeding train. I need to be everywhere, be connected to the information field, participate in processes. This brings results, this brings success. But I feel how this speed is starting to destroy something inside me. I feel this vibration and understand that it is a signal.

Schoolchildren in Japan have a lesson in contemplation; they believe that a person cannot be complete without it. I think this is a very important skill in our time. Sometimes you just need to stop and breathe. Get out of the processes and slow down the rapid flow of thoughts a little. Try to dissolve into the space of living nature. And then, cleansed of everything, in this silence and simplicity, you may be able to feel what is truly important...
