Nadya Sedova
Nadya Sedova (*1991) is a photographer and artist. She lives and works in the Moscow region. She studied at the IInternational Academy of Documentary and Art Photography “Photographics” (2024-2026), and at the Graduated the Faculty of Graphic Arts of MSUP (2014).
She explores the world through different media: painting, video, and photography. In her photographic works, she engages with the theme of nature, reflecting on its meaning and manifestations, and on its influence on the human being and their inner states. She also addresses the theme of a person’s life path, self-realization, and inner development.
In her photographs, the artist often employs minimalist forms, a strong sense of graphic quality, and an interplay of light and shadow, allowing the viewer to perceive the depth and breath of the moment — the point at which external space begins to resonate with personal experience. Photography helps the artist convey her own perception of the world.
Solo exhibitions: Lines and Shapes (2024), A Matter of the Soul (2025), Where the Clouds Descend (2025). She is the author of two photobooks — Slowdown (2025) and Lines and Shapes (2024).
